So i just recently moved in with my father. He's a truck driver and is gone most of the week. He forgot to tell me that about once every couple months the fridge will turn off and you have to wiggle the power cord for it to turn back on. Well i just went grocery shopping a couple days ago. I was out of the house all day yesterday and didn't open the fridge until this morning. The light was off and all the food was warm and everything in the freezer was thawed.
That was about $100 worth of food. Is there anything that can be salvaged in this situation? Like condiments/ sauces? What about the chicken and pork chops? Is it all just a loss? Any help will be appreciated.
