Apartment doesn't feel homey at all DIY

Living in a 1,200 square feet 2/2 lake front apartment for $1,506 month. Questioning whether or not I should move.

Qualms:

Groceries up to the third floor sucks

Mosquitoes, lizards, spider webs daily near the front door

Bedroom and bathroom are missing interior doors; I'm not handy enough to install them myself and do not know who to call

No pictures, no flowers, no books, no mats, bare bathrooms, very little furniture, no televisions, coil stove, basic microwave and refrigerator, linoleum countertops, ugly cabinets, sticky tile in kitchen, rusty laundry room doors, dusty/linty everything, cobwebs on ceilings, dirty baseboards, broken closet doors, no ceiling fans, dirty sliding glass door, disgustingly bug and dirt infested window sills, mediocre showers, boring paint

I wouldn't even begin to know how to start cleaning, let alone adding a homey vibe to the apartment.

Any tips on how to deep clean, then make a nicely finished interior would be a big help. Things to purchase, etc.

I'd like to live in a house that at least smells nice.
