My wife and I were just trying to re-imagine our kitchen space, and realized we could have a lot more counter space if our refrigerator fit under a counter top. It'd be at the expense of some low cabinet space, but we'd gain back a couple of useful, reachable sized cabinets above it, too.
So for those of you who've worked in restaurants or redesigned your kitchens, what are we not thinking of? Why isn't this more common?
