Any tips on eating for one on the cheap and without a refrigerator? xpost r/frugal EatCheapAndHealthy

Long time lurker, first time asker.

In a financially fucked position. I just moved into a new cheap place, but it doesn't have a refrigerator and it will be a while before I can buy even a small one.

So far, I've been buying tons of fresh produce that doesn't need refrigeration and nuts from a very cheap local market.

When I had a fridge, I've done the bulk rice and beans thing with a pressure cooker, but it seems inefficient to fire that baby up for one or two meals.

Any other options, my EatingCheapAndHealty friends?
