I am keeping an eye on the wedding flowers for my soon to be wife. They were shipped yesterday morning (10-15). I immediately put them in buckets of water and in refrigerators. I noticed at about 10 last night that one of the refrigerators temperature had dropped below 32 degrees. I took those flowers out and put them in with the other flowers in the fridge that was maintaing a temp between 36-40 degrees.
This morning, around 4ish, I check on the flowers, they had plenty of water, but some of them have started to turn a brownish black color. I took them all out of the fridge and put them in a cool room. Did they turn this color because of the low temperature of the refrigerator? I mixed the ones I took out of the colder fridge in with the others, so there is no way of telling if these were the flowers from that fridge. Is there a way to bring there color back?
