My father and I caught 8 trout on Sunday morning and have kept them stored in one of our refrigerators. Usually he freezes them right after we clean them but I was expecting to cook with them sometime soon and had to put it off.
I opened up the packaging to smell them and they both smell and look completely fine. No gross odor. Should I still throw them out or do you guys think it'll be safe to use?
