Last night my fridge threw a high temp alarm. The fridge was in the 60's and the freezer was in the teens. After a bit of detective work I figured out that the lights where staying on when the door closed. This is not an LED model so the 4 lights generate quite a bit of heat which I think was causing the issue. There are no obvious switches anywhere in the refrigerator section and it appears that the control panel lights are triggered by a magnet when the doors come together. The freezer does a have a separate switch and it is functioning normally. Does anyone know if the control panel switch controls the fridge lights?
