Small, growing e-commerce web retailer seeking a very web-savvy product manager / marketing assistant to help manage our online products and categories. Great position for someone looking to enter into e-commerce field.
Our website includes over 30,000 business, office, and industrial products that require constant maintenance and adjustments. This includes verifying product features, images, and specifications with the supplier, and tweaking the details to fit our website. The process requires meticulous attention to detail and excellent writing skills.
You will work as part of our marketing team, but the position is heavily reliant on personal motivation and your own output. Each person is responsible for getting their tasks down efficiently.
Requirements:

Very comfortable with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUM, ROUNDUP)

Basic HTML (lists, paragraphs, headings, images)

Basic Photoshop experience (cropping, image levels/brightness/contrast, basic typography)
Highly Preferred:
- Experience with Magento or other shopping carts / platforms (Opencart, Shopify, WooCommerce, proprietary)
Responsibilities:

Adding and updating products directly on our website (Magento & HTML)

Adding and updating products via Excel based on supplier price lists
-
Navigating through supplier resources to find the relevant product details and specifications
-
Rewriting industry jargon into easily understandable language for customers
