Some questions about tea spoilage/health. tea

  1. How long can I keep tea leaves (or tea bags) before they go bad? Does it matter if it's stored in its original vacuum packaging or opened and dumped into a tin? Please distinguish between the taste going bad and the tea leaves being dangerous to my health in your answer.
  2. How long can a brewed cup/pot of tea that is left out in room temperature be safely drunk? If I brew a cup of tea and forget to finish it, is it still safe to drink the next morning when I get to work? What about over the weekend?
  3. How long is brewed iced tea good in the refrigerator before spoiling?
  4. Let's say I finish a mug of tea and then the next morning all that's left in that mug is the dry residue. Is it safe to brew another cup of tea in that same mug without washing it first? If no, is a simple rinsing with water good enough or does it really need a good scrubbing for health reasons? If yes, how many times before it actually needs a thorough washing for health safety reasons.
  5. Let's say I dump used tea leaves into the trash can. How long until their rotting could cause a health concern?

Thanks!
