Lately I've been enjoying snacking on popcorn. I was popping it in a large saucepan with some butter, then seasoning it and storing it in a one gallon ziplock bag. I was afraid to just put it on a shelf in the cupboard for the 4 or 5 days it takes me to eat it all, so I've been keeping it in the refrigerator.
I've been thinking about switching to margarine so that I can keep it at room temp but I'm not positive that's safe either.
What does r/AskCulinary think?
