So if you, for instance, just bought a house, and it doesn't have functioning refrigerator/oven/dishwasher/washing machine/dryer/etc. you could go to sears or something and buy a new one, and someone will come install it for you. However I bet there's some cheaper alternatives, as this could cost around 1k or more per appliance. What are some alternative ways to obtain these appliances and get them into your home and set up?
I'm not quite in the process of buying a place yet, but it's quite possible I'll do it in the next year or so, so I'd like to be prepared in case I find myself looking at different places that may or may not have these things set up.
