Today I found a stray egg in my refrigerator that said "Merry Christmas" on it. Curios, I cracked it open. No smell, no weird discoloring, round yolk, standard color on the egg white. Not being a total maniac, I didn't cook or eat it. But it got me thinking. How long will an uncooked egg keep in the fridge? Dr Google doesn't give me a a satisfying scientific answer.
The old household "floating trick" only determine that the egg is aged, not if it's bad for you.
