A week ago I asked for advice on how to get my roommate to clean up after himself.
The garbage incident is still going on. I put the garbage in his room because he refused to take it out, and he left on spring break and I did too. He returned today, and I spent most of the day away from my apartment. I returned to the apartment to see that he had taken all the silverware, pots and pans, plates and everything else that he owned in the kitchen. We had an agreement before moving in that he would supply kitchen items, in fact he volunteered to do so. I walked into the living room to see that he had opened the drawer of a table I had in the living room which had my extra socks that didn't fit in my dresser in my room, and threw them all over the floor. A note on the refrigerator door said "Don't worry, I only took what's mine. Plus I did the liberty of taking out some trash!" I'm not sure what trash he means, but I assume it was something that will inconvenience me and I'll find out later. I don't know if I should ignore this, or if I should tell my landlord. I feel there is nothing they can do because he did pay for the pots and pans, but this just seems out of hand because he agreed to let us use the silverware pots pans and plates. Someone please tell me how to end this feud and get this person out of my life
