Fridge tripping on GFCI electricians

I'm not a electrician, just looking for some advice.

My refrigerator keeps tripping my GFCI outlet. I have confirmed that it's the fridge by putting it on a different GFCI circuit that also gets tripped.

I have heard conflicting things about whether a fridge should or should not be on a GFCI circuit

What do you guys think?

The fridge is only 2.5 years old. Should I call an appliance repair company or just bypass the gfci in the receptacle?
