Is everyone taking advantage of any local energy efficiency programs? Frugal

I work for a Massachusetts state energy efficiency program called MassSave. When you make an appointment a home energy specialist comes out to your house. We give any homeowner or renter that pays an electric or gas utility bill(no income requirements) free LED bulbs, Programmable Thermostats, Power Strips, water saving showerheads, and faucet aerators.

If your home isn't well insulated mass save will pay for 75% of the insulation your home energy specialist recommends up to $2000. There are additional rebates on things like new refrigerators and washer machines too.

Many states have comparable programs. Can't speak for other countries but i'm sure some in colder climates have insulation programs.
