Consensus on saving seeds? Can I put them in my deep freeze (it's in my garage and temps here get to -40c in winter) gardening

I'd love to put them in my inside (top of refrigerator) freezer, but I don't have enough space. Will they be alright in the deep freeze I keep in the garage? My meats and veg are fine there, but I don't want to damage the seeds.

I tried to search but couldn't find definitive info on really cold temps. Thanks!
