Our 1939-built Wisconsin USA house has linoleum (I think?) flooring that I'd like to get looking as good as possible. I've scrubbed it with non-abrasive cleaners (a mixture of vinegar and kitchen soap) and am wondering a) what else I can do to clean it and b) what I should use to shine/wax(?) it.
Here is a photo of the part of the floor near the refrigerator, which hasn't had much traffic and I am assuming is closer to the original color:
Thanks in advance for any advice. Please keep in mind I am NOT an expert or practiced home renovator. :)
