Can anyone help me: there is a part missing from my GE refrigerator and I am trying to figure out what it is. Appliances

So a few months ago a family of opossums decided to set up shop in my garage. They damaged several appliances, including the GE refrigerator we have. I reconnected everything with the molex connectors and "tabs" as I call them (not sure of the official name).

IT STILL WORKS but it is missing a single part, and I have read that if it is something like the overload protection device and I have power issues the compressor could seize indefinitely, so I really want to find out what this part is.
