Leaving raw chicken out for 5 hours and then using it to make chicken sashimi... how bad is this? HealthyFood

My buddy made some chicken sashimi from chicken breast he bought at the local grocery store. I didn't understand that it meant raw chicken and ate 5 or 6 pieces about 5 hours after it had been removed from the refrigerator. Does anyone know if this is unhealthy? Should I expect to get sick?
