I've taken the medicine 2 times; today should be the 3rd. The first two days I was exhausted and had some serious brain fog. The first night having sex was difficult, but this could definitely have been all in my head because I'm paranoid about sexual issues with these types of drugs. I was able to orgasm, but not while fully hard, but again, not sure if this was the medicine or all in my head.
I notice I am getting hot easily, even in my refrigerator of an office. Last night I woke up at 3am to pee, which isn't abnormal, but it took me well over an hour to fall back to sleep--that is definitely abnormal.
This morning I find that I woke up feeling good, but I still have some brain fog and also feel jittery. I drink no caffeine, so there's no other cause for the jittery sensation.
At this point I'm wondering if I should discontinue use of this medication. I can see promise, but I don't know if the side effects are worth it. I live in a hot and humid climate; I don't need to be hotter. My wife and I have a very active sex life, which keeps my spirits up and is important to us both, so I don't want to risk that.
Formerly I was on Viibryd (4 years ago) and got to a point where I could come off of it. It worked well for me, but it is also over $200/month, so I was looking for a cheaper solution that would work similarly.
