For my E&M class, I get to write a paper on a topic that is tangential to the course material. I was wondering if /r/AskPhysics had any recommendations or suggestions for interesting E&M topics to look into. I wrote a really fun paper on dilution refrigerators last year for a thermo class, and am looking for a topic that similarly springs from the concepts of E&M.
