3 T soy sauce
1 T Water
1 T plus 1 tsp sesame oil
1/8 tsp garlic powder or 1 T garlic flakes
¼ tsp ground ginger
2 tsp honey
1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast or 1 ¼ lbs peeled and deveined shrimp
Combine all ingredients except chicken/shrimp. Add chicken and shrimp and marinate in the refrigerator, turning occasionally.
Remove chicken/shrimp from marinade and grill or broil until cooked. About 3 to 5 minutes on each side, depending on thickness.
