MY SO has taken both adderall and and vyvanse successfully (currently taking). However with both, I feel that he has experienced that same problem: aggressive behavior and tendencies towards rage and emotional outburts. Is this a symptom of the ADHD itself, a medication side-effect, or both? He says that sometimes his medication makes it hard for him to sleep and I know that amphetamines affect your appetite. These outburst are triggered by very small things. He got VERY upset with me this morning and had a complete emotional come-apart because I accidentally put a frozen bag of bagels back in the refrigerator. Apparently, they were frozen and needed to thaw. I picked them up by the top of the bag where it was gathered and couldn't feel that it was cold or I would have left them out! I don’t know what to do or how to approach the situation because I know it will happen again because it has before!
