"Casual" pumping questions breastfeeding

I'm a SAHM breastfeeding my 6 week old. We've had our ups and downs and due to LO suddenly being very hit or miss with the boob I've started to pump once a day as a backup. I pump in the morning and get 1.5-2.5 oz. What I'm wondering about is the best way to store these small amounts. Currently I put the bottle for each day in the refrigerator. If I don't give LO the bottle in ~3 days I transfer into an ice cube tray covered with saran wrap in the freezer. Once I've frozen what I'm going to for the week the plan was to transfer the cubes to a freezer bag with the date range written on the bag. Is this the best way to store small amounts of milk? I just noticed that the tray I have in the freezer looks a little freezer burnt. Is this a problem for the quality of the milk?
