LPT: Replace incandescent bulbs in your refrigerator with LED bulbs where possible. LifeProTips

Reasons:

1- Reduction in energy cost from bulbs alone. Incandescent use over 10x the energy, and my refrigerator had 5.

2- LED bulbs generate significantly less heat. Less heat generated means the refrigerator kicks on less often, and also uses less power.

Doing this alone saved $30 on my electric bill in one month, but my refrigerator is 5+ years old.
