Upon opening his refrigerator on Saturday morning, Norman realized that he was running low on artichokes and soy milk. He remembered seeing a supermarket advertisement offering a fifty-cent discount on soy milk. While it was not for his favorite brand and he usually went shopping on Sundays, he dejectedly got in to his car and drove to the store. This is what happens, he told himself, when you overindulge and forget to budget your soy milk intake. When he got to the store, girl scouts were out front selling cookies. Not wanting to speak to children or purchase cookies, Norman turned around and went home. Norman has been regulating his soy milk intake better ever since.
