I am debating whether to go the stainless steel route of appliances. I know all the Housing Shows talk about "Stainless steel" for kitchen and laundry appliances, but I am currently starting to get away from it?
There are three things that concern me regarding stainless steel.
1) When they dent, they DENT. Forget about running into your refrigerator with your cutting board, dent. I saw a few that looked like they had a screwdriver driven dragged across it.
2) Abuse. Any nick, scratch, ding is pretty much a permanent scar on your stainless steel appliance.
3) Look. Oddly enough, I don't think it looks that great with white countertops.
Have anybody else had the same concerns regarding stainless steel?
