Y'all, I'm losing my mind here.
Baby girl is 16 weeks and going through what I can only guess is the dreaded 4 month sleep regression. The second I set her down in her crib, swing, bed, bouncer, etc. she screams bloody murder, yet as soon as I pick her up she magically passes out into the deepest sleep imaginable. Plus she has a cold and hates the snot sucker.
Toddler turned 2 in February and thinks she is a mini iron chef. I seriously can't keep the kid out of the kitchen. She just figured out how to open the refrigerator and if I leave her unattended for more than 30 seconds you bet your ass she can be found whipping up some disgusting concoction of foods she's scavenged while I wasn't looking. Other hobbies include climbing every imaginable surface (because opening a drawer and climbing on counters to break into my candy stash is now a thing) as well as demanding to watch The Croods on repeat.
The second I get one of them settled the other is sure to be screaming, demanding to nurse, ascending to unsafe heights via whatever piece of furniture is in her wake, or some other act of obnoxiousness.
I know there are kindred spirits out there for me to commiserate with. Please...someone....anyone....share your stories/survival tactics of life juggling a toddler and a baby at the same time.
