Tomorrow a friend is about to bring me shrooms - I think it's about an 8th of shrooms mixed into chocolate. I've never tried shrooms before so I'd really not like to miss this opportunity.
The problem is, I won't be able to take until them this weekend, or very possibly until the weekend after that. And the friend won't have another chance to bring the shrooms back to me.
The shrooms/chocolate will be wrapped in tinfoil to keep it from being affected by moisture, oxygen and light. My friend will keep them in his refrigerator until this weekend but after that I'll have to keep it myself. The problem with keeping it myself is that I don't want to hide shrooms in the family refrigerator. If I have to resort to this then I'll have to find some sort of convincing Trojan Horse or something - like burying the chocolate in a half-eaten milkshake and putting it in the freezer, and hoping my parents don't throw it out.
If I keep the shrooms in the refrigerator for the first week, and out of a refrigerator for the second week, will they still be fine to eat? Or should I find a way to refrigerate them for the second week? Or will they go bad after the second week of refrigeration anyway? Any advice on how to wrap it / containers to put it in to prevent it from going bad?
