So I started thinking about power last night and researching deep cycle batteries when it occurred to me, I may not have paid enough attention to long term power needs. I'm not talking about AC+refrigerator+washing machine for days on end - I'm talking about weeks without power and what I would do.
Do you all have varying levels of plans? like days vs. weeks vs. months without power?
Is a generator the primary source for power when SHTF?
What about solar panels and deep cycle batteries?
What about voltage conversion equipment, investors, etc??
