Getting rid of smell from oil-based polyurethane HomeImprovement

Hey /r/homeimprovement! Recently bought a house and had the floors re-sealed/coated with two coats of oil-based polyurethane about 2.5 weeks ago. The smell is starting to dissipate (or at least lessen) from the rest of the house, but we've noticed that not only do the fumes appear to have seeped into the refrigerator and freezer, but they are making everything we put in there taste like floor. :( So far we've tried leaving open boxes of baking soda in both the fridge and freezer, and leaving piles of activated charcoal (in loaf pans) in both the fridge and freezer, and not much luck so far. Anyone have any tips for getting rid of this smell (/taste)??
