Norman stood at the back of a room full of people with a raffle ticket in his hand. Norman usually doesn't like raffles because random chance made him uncomfortable, but he made an exeption today as the prize was a refrigerator. Norman already owned a refrigerator but he liked the idea of keeping a second one in the basement to store his magnets when they were not in use, as to not clutter the first refrigerator.
Norman listened excitedly, tapping his fingers against his leg, as the host called out the winning number. "Number 61 is the winner!" Norman looked at his ticket and saw that his number was number 61. He was very excited but didn't want to make a scene, so he quietly began walking towards the front. When he got there a tall lady was already claiming the prize. Norman was confused but as he looked closer he noticed that she was holding her ticket upside down, and in fact had number 19. Norman didn't want to be rude and interupt the happy woman so he turned around and left. He had a small pebble in his shoe the whole walk home.
