I would like to replace my noisy, bulky, and inefficient 12 cu.ft fridge with something more efficient and economical. I bought it used about 6 years ago.
That's when i realized how goddamn expensive new refrigerators are. The cheapest reliable model over 10 cu.ft runs in the $500 range shipped.
Would it make more sense to buy two 4.5 cu.ft refrigerators at $120 each? Or maybe one of those and a small deep freezer to go along with it?
Any ideas on how to save on purchase and running costs would be highly appreciated.
