It seems like in the winter, I have to set the heater way hotter than I want it to be in order for the room to reach the temperature I want (then I forget, and spring comes and everyone is sweltering).
Same when there's a heat wave, I have to set the refrigerator to be super cold in order to keep things from melting.
There should be such a thing as a thermostat in the game (even if you have to research it). You set it to the temperature you want, connect specific heaters and coolers to it, and it maintains the temperature, just drawing more power as needed.
