i'm trying to remember the name of a cable-access or amateur style talk show from the late 90s. it was hosted by a dark-haired, nerdy yet savvy teenager. it was filmed in his parents home and a few random details i remember are as follows -- a couple of his guests included kelly rowland from destiny's child and joey mcintyre from NKOTB. i also remember there were no shoes allowed in the house so everyone was always in stocking feet. the catering for the celebrity guests was done in a humble down home style by his mother, serving things like grocery store deli platters. his mother also frequently purchased mcdonald's hamburgers for the teenage host by the bagful, to be stored in the refrigerator and reheated later. it wasn't the tom green show or the andy milonakis show, but similar and around the same time. i'm not sure what network, possibly mtv or vh1. any ideas? i really enjoyed the awkwardness and humble sweetness of the show's host as well as his enthusiasm and chutzpah!
