I have a 6.8kw generator that I bought just bought yesterday. I'm having someone hook up a 30 amp transfer switch to it today. I am wanting to maximize what I can use with it. Just as a ballpark estimate I'm thinking I can use the following with the xfr switch:
Most of the lights Refrigerator Freezer An eye on the oven Anything else?
I don't think there is any way to use the water heater. It's 50 gallon.
With the other ~20-25 amps I could use space heaters, Two 1500 watt. Do they make space heaters larger wattage than that?
I welcome any rec's/advice.
