I searched the subreddit and found a couple of threads but I'm still stumped. I recently bought a bag of the house coffee and had it ground for my french press. I've been trying to replicate the iced coffee I get from my local Starbucks but I just can't quite get the flavor or consistency down.
My typical order for an Iced Coffee -- Venti Iced Coffee, Sweetened, with half and half.
What am I doing wrong?
I typically brew some coffee in the morning, drink a cup hot to get my day started and throw it in the refrigerator some time around noon so it's cold later that day or cold for my next drink in the morning. I've got an older iced drink cup (I'll try and get a photo) and I fill it with ice, pour the coffee near the top and add some half and half. The color looks right but that seems like a terrible way to estimate. Unfortunately there aren't any lines on this particular drinkware. My next step may be to purchase one of the cups that you folks sell with the lines to get more accurate measurements.
Any tips for someone who brews at work?
Thanks, you're all awesome!
