Shredded spinach torn lettuce, Bean sprouts and cherry tomatoes are tossed in with a yummy honey-lemon juice and spring onion dressing.
------ INGREDIENTS ------ * 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
2 cups torn iceberg any other lettuce
1 cup bean sprouts cleaned
4 cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
4 pretzels OR 4 bread sticks
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped spring onion greens
1 tsp salt
------ INSTRUCTIONS ------ * Mix the spinach, iceberg and bean sprouts in a bowl.
Put some ice water in the bowl and keep in the refrigerator.
Just before serving, drain the spinach, iceberg and bean sprouts.
Add the cherry tomatoes, pumpkin seeds and pretzel sticks an place in a serving bowl.
Pour the dressing on top.
Tips:- To make this salad more nutritious, you can add paneer (cottage cheese) cubes to it.
Enjoy! Crunchy in every spoonful, just ensure you eat it immediately after the dressing is mixed in.
