Refrigerator freezing a couple things fixit

I woke up this morning to make breakfast for my boyfriend for work, which consists of putting a few hard boiled gigs in a container. As I'm pulling the eggs out from the bottom shelf I hear them clinking inside the Tupperware container. They're frozen solid. I had a pot of coffee cooling and I checked that, frozen over the top but still relatively liquid. The eggs were in the back corner, coffee front center. All other things around these two items weren't frozen. I checked the produce drawers and found a bag of baby carrots frozen, but the bok choy and a container of chicken broth were perfectly fine. What's going on that would cause such incredibly localized freezing?
