Television commercials are dominated by movie trailers, personal hygiene products, cars, and beer. Why don't GE, Frigidaire, etc. spend money to advertise their newest kitchen or household appliance? Is it a matter of the cost? Toothpaste is cheap, cars are really expensive; is the middle-ground no-mans land?
