I'm making some Pumpkin Spice cupcakes for a party that is happening this coming Sunday but because of time constraints, I have to make them today.
I want to add a caramel drizzle to the tops but I'm worried that it will go funny (dissolve into the frosting, turn the frosting a brown color, etc) over the next couple of days and will end up looking terrible by the time the party starts.
Should I wait til Sunday morning and try to do it then or would it be safe to do it now and just leave them in the refrigerator?
