Whirlpool Fridge - WRF736SDAM - Leaking Ice Maker appliancerepair

Within the past few days I have noticed that my ice maker has been leaking water when it makes ice. I removed my ice maker from the fridge. Here is the ice maker still together.

After lifting the part that creates the ice, I noticed that there was frozen water underneath it. I also noticed the little drainage line which is actually where the water was dripping from.

The water is freezing there because that is where the part that makes the ice touches.

Now I see two things happening:

  1. The water is overflowing when dumped from the water line into the ice maker.

  2. The water tube has misaligned from the ice maker, which causes some of the water to spill over the side. (I don't feel like this is the case because of how long I have had this fridge)

I am unsure what the solution may be if one of those is the problem.

Also it seems that the adhesive on my fill tube heater has worn off, what can I use to get it to stick again?
