Hello Friends today I would like to discuss possibly the largest issue affecting both our great nation as well as this sub. mylittleandysonic1

A liberal muslim homosexual ACLU lawyer professor and abortion doctor was teaching a class on Karl Marx, known atheist. ”Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Marx and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ!” At this moment, a brave, patriotic, pro-life Navy SEAL champion who had served 1500 tours of duty and understood the necessity of war and fully supported all military decisions made by the United States stood up and held up a rock. ”How old is this rock, pinhead?” The arrogant professor smirked quite Jewishly and smugly replied “4.6 billion years, you stupid Christian.” ”Wrong. It’s been 5,000 years since God created it. If it was 4.6 billion years old and evolution, as you say, is real… then it should be an animal now.” The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of The Origin of Species. He stormed out of the room crying those liberal crocodile tears. The same tears liberals cry for the “poor” (who today live in such luxury that most own refrigerators) when they jealously try to claw justly earned wealth from the deserving job creators. There is no doubt that at this point our professor wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a sophist liberal professor. He wished so much that he had a gun to shoot himself from embarrassment, but he himself had petitioned against them! The students applauded and all registered Republican that day and accepted Jesus as their lord and savior. An eagle named “Small Government” flew into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tear on the chalk. The pledge of allegiance was read several times, and God himself showed up and enacted a flat tax rate across the country. The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of the gay plague AIDS and was tossed into the lake of fire for all eternity. Semper Fi. P.S. Close the borders

I'll Tell You What "Liberal" Is. Liberal Is S White Men Running Tech Companies In San Francisco. Not The Berkeley Princess Who Hates Men On Twitter, But Unbelievably Powerful And Wealthy People Who Spout Liberal Rally Cries While Funding The Conservative Agenda Behind The Scenes - Closet Conservatives, Every One. Because Conservative Politicians And Conservative Policies Give These Founders And Investors The Freedom To Make More, Keep More, Exploit More. You Think They Truly Care About Ferguson, Workplace Diversity Or Keeping The Homeless And Mentally Ill Safe? Fuck No. They Care About Money, Money, Money. And That Matters, Because They Are The Economy Of Tomorrow. They Are The Economy Of Today, Though Most Can't See It Yet. Do You Know Anything About Startup Culture? What Do You Think Will Happen To Grocery Clerks, Hotel Workers, Fucking Garbage Men In The Next 20 Years? If You Don't Know Or Think They Will Be Fine And Dandy, You Aren't Aware Of The Very Plausible Plans Being Devised In Silicon Valley Right Now. A Brave New World, For Sure. Rich People Can Donate $50,000 To Charity (Pocket Change) And Gain 5 Years Of Goodwill In Return. They Can Go On Twitter And Scream (ALL CAPS) "I Can't Breathe!" People Gobble That Shit Up. It's Liberal Cred. And They Need Liberal Cred Because Liberals Are The Customers. They're The Customers And The Product. Kids Are Liberals. How Many Teenagers Are Conservative These Days? Who Cares? Don't Get Me Wrong. I Believe In True Equality. All Races. All Religions. All Sexual Identities And Orientations. You Think They Do, Too, These Visionaries Of Tomorrow's Society. They Don't Care. Meat Is Meat. Slaves Are Slaves. Dollars Are Dollars. It's Fucking Business. These Causes. These Movements. These Narratives. If You Buy Into That Tech/Social Bullshit, You're Nothing But A Pawn. Unless You Are An Engineer Or Graphic Designer, You're Marked For Slavery. Your Beliefs, Your Values ... They Mean Nothing. Liberal Media Is Worse Than Dead. Fox And Friends, Bill O'Reilly ... Simpletons In The Weaponization Of Media, Online And Off. Liberals Are The Masters. My Master. Your Master. Masters Of Control. Masters Of Mass Psychology. Watch What With This Liberal Wave Of Butt-Hurt Cowards Hath Wrought. It Will Be Apparent Before Long. Ten Years, 20 Years.... What Happens When The Narrative Is Laid Bare? When The Fools Who Love To Generalize, Wave Banners And Join Causes Are Left Empty Handed By Their Messiahs? I'll Tell You What: Nothing. We Won't Be Able To Do Jack Shit. And Who Is We? The People Who Care And Notice? Not Likely To Be Many Of Them Left. All Of This Will Be Done In The Name Of Liberalism, Equality And Justice. Fucking Write It Down. Fuck, I Wish I Had Some Chocolate Milk.

19 M4F - The Powers of a God eroticpenpals

(This is my first fantasy like scenario idea, so forgive me if it's a little over the top.)

You've lived a pretty dull life, and over the past few years you've seem to grown into a rut. You couldn't help it, it just all seemed to happen over time. You've grown comfortable in your life, and you didn't feel the need to change. But there was still a lingering feeling inside you, one that craved some excitement.

One morning you wake up, you head down the quiet hallway, your feet knocking against the polished hardwood floor. You head to the kitchen to cook yourself up some breakfast before heading to work, but find the fridge mostly empty save for a half gallon of milk, some leftovers, and some yogurt. Your stomach growls and you wish you had some more food, so you could avoid a trip to the grocery store after work.

In an instant, your refrigerator fills up with food. You step back in shock, falling to ground as you stare at all the food stuffed into your refrigerator. When you stand up, the food you were craving just moments ago is now set on the stone counter top.

This.. is a dream.. you think to yourself, It has to be..

You try multiple times to wake yourself up, but nothing works. If you were dreaming, it seems like you were stuck in it. Since you were stuck, you figured you might as well try to figure out what's going on. It doesn't take you long to figure out that the food appeared in response to your desire. So you try something else.

You've always wanted to renovate your drab, boring kitchen. But haven't had the money or time. You close your eyes and imagine your perfect kitchen; clean tan walls, with a white trim, polished black stone for the counter tops, and a large eight eyed stove top. When you open your eyes, the exact image in your head appears before you. You walk around exploring the kitchen, looking into the clean stove, picking up the shining steel knives and other utensils.

"Whoa.." you whisper, but a smile slowly creeps up on your face. You realize you can do anything that you want. Immediately you start to play around with your new found powers. You make fire in your hand, you watch yourself in the mirror as your hair morphs into all sorts of different styles.

You spend the entire day playing around with these powers, even when your boss calls you about not showing you, you tell him you don't have work today and he accepts it without question. Finally you decide to test another side of these powers. You haven't had any sexual gratification in a while. You walk out of your house in newly made clothes, out on the prowl for the perfect 'test subject' to test your new powers.

So there's my prompt. Basically from here, you look around until you find me. A young guy you find yourself attracted to, who had a young sturdy body you could manipulate. You figure I could handle it and get me to come home with you. In this roleplay you have complete control over every single thing. How and where we meet is up to you. Whether you just happen to find me walking down the street, or if sneak into a huge regal party using your powers and find a young rich guy.

You can change any part of my body, make multiple versions of me. Any crazy thing you can think of.

Who you are is up to you too. You could just be a young woman who works at a retail job, or a bored housewife who suddenly has these powers.

If you're interested, please send me a PM. I'd like this to be a detailed RP, so please send me a PM if you're a decent writer. In your message to me, let me know your age, name, and description. Include who your character is as well.

Found Out Sex Offender Lives Next to Me StLouis

So, me and my girlfriend bought a great little house in Maplewood about six months ago, a fixer-upper, I guess I'd say, but a lovely little house. Our neighbor house on one side is odd. It's a house split into four or so apartments. The owner lives in one apartment (I found this out by searching for the property on the STL County website). I was wondering who the owner is because of the fairly dilapidated state of the place. Old-ass above ground pool in the back yard, random refrigerator there as well. General disrepair of the house. Wondered if the landlord lived there or not in case I needed to talk with him about anything.

On to the real story. We saw one of the tenants a while back and both said to each other, "that dude looks like a sex offender." Well, didn't think much about it, and today I randomly decided to search for the address of the house on google and what did I find? The guy who looked like a sex offender, is actually a sex offender, and not only a sex offender, but a guy who was convicted of raping a 10 year old girl and and 11 year old girl. Now, this conviction was back in 1993, and he got out in 2004, and according to casenet and the registry, he had no other convictions. I guess someone who rapes a ten year old and an eleven year old can be reformed???

But, I just found out I live next to a child rapist. I don't know what to do. Obviously I'm concerned for the safety of my girlfriend (but luckily shes a bit too old for his tastes...and we aren't planning on having kids) But there are children than live in the house behind them. There's also a child that comes to the house with what I assume to be it's mother. I can't decide if they live there or not, but I'm assuming they are visiting the rapist because I've seen the child walking the rapist's dog. There are also numerous other families with children that live in the neighborhood. I'm worried that they don't know this person is around.

I mean, I've wanted everyone in this shitty place next to us to move or the place get condemned since we moved in because it's pretty much a blight on the neighborhood. I don't know if it's a halfway house or something, but the amount of randoms coming in and out makes me think something funny is going on aside from just the sex offender living there.

I don't know if there's anything I can do here. I figure I'm pretty much screwed into living next to a child rapist now...I don't want to move because I like my house and I love my neighborhood, except for my neighbors. Unfortunately the owner is old, but not old enough to die soon. And I don't know if the rest of the neighborhood knows what I know. Does anyone have any advice here? I'm completely lost and confused.

Should have thought to search the registry before moving, I guess...Now I know that's something to worry about...

TLDR: hate my neighbors and their shitty house split into apartments, found out that one of the guys that lives there was convicted of raping two children.

What do you get when you cross a chicken with a tiger? AntiAntiJokes

The scientist peered into his refrigerator and eyed his beloved chickentiger with lust.

"This is science. A whole science. My science," said the scientist.

"Hey bub!" replied the chickentiger. "It's a little cold inside of this running refrigerator. Where are all the HIV capsules you left in here?"

"Inside of my running refrigerator, I do not appear to have any HIV." exclaimed the scientist. The chickentiger began to molt sensually. Under its breath, it whispered softly:

"Then you better go catch it"

Bad Guest Experience - Seeking Advice AirBnB

So I've been an AirBNB host for a little over a year now, with two types of listings for my property (Penthouse Loft in St. Louis City). I started off with just renting my second bedroom to travelers who are coming downtown for conventions and business trips (I'm an easy walk to all the city center locations). That was going really well, but I found myself traveling with work more and more, so I decided to create a second listing, for the entire 2,800sqf penthouse while I was gone. That listing has done very well, to the point that I'm making myself go out of town more often that I need to because of so many reservations. I've had really good luck, and been very fortunate that I haven't had any issues with anyone as far as them being excessively loud, damaging, or rude to my neighbors in the building... until this past weekend.

I had a woman from Iowa make a reservation for her, her boyfriend, and (2) other couples (a total of 6 adults) for this last weekend, they were coming in town for a sporting event (didn't know what event at the time). I greet her and her boyfriend this past Friday at the space and show them around, I'm getting really good vibes from her and her boyfriend, they seem really chill and nice. They had an additional fellow with them though who didn't speak much, but when he did, he was rather negative, and didn't give off the best impression. Regardless, as we worked our way around the space, I showed them the kitchen, and offered to them that they could have anything they wanted in the refrigerator (there was a few light beers that other guests had left behind, not much else). I hit the road and wish them the best for the weekend.

Fast forward to 2AM Saturday morning (their first night there), I wake up to my phone buzzing with a series of text messages from my neighbor. She's concerned because there was a loud thud that came from my space, and then for the last hour, there was a woman crying loudly and in a shouting match with a man. She said that she also heard what she thought was wooden furniture breaking. Concerned, as she should be, she was messaging me to see if I was OK. I let her know there was AirBNB guests in the space for the weekend, and asked her if it was bad enough that I should call the cops. She said no, but asked that I look into it in the morning (which I was planning to do regardless).

First thing in the morning, I immediately contact AirBNB and explain the situation. They are great to deal with, and suggest that I start by sending a quick message via the platform to the guest to make sure everything is OK. I immediately do so, and about an hour later I receive a text message from the guest on my phone saying "I'm so sorry your probably worried! Nothing broke and no one was crying or flighting! We came home from the bars! We were probably loud, but all safe and nothing is broken! Promise!"

I let them stay the additional night, and I make my way back to the property on Sunday. I get into the space, and could immediately tell they had had a party there. The wood floor in the kitchen was still sticky from spilt drinks, the stainless steel table in the kitchen was a sticky mess as well, and there were bags of trash laying up against the wall. I open the refrigerator and I find close to 50 Busch Light beer cans filling up the refrigerator. Then I look to my liquor cabinet above the refrigerator to find my selection of Grey Goose, Patron, New Amsterdam and JD, almost completely empty (they were brand new bottles purchased a few weeks ago). Then I notice a open bottle of wine sitting on the kitchen counter top. It's a bottle that was given to me by a family member in 2009, even had a special label on it with my name... quick glance to the wine cabinet, same deal, at least 3 or 4 additional bottles missing.

I work my way into the bedroom, sure enough, the wood runners for the queen size bed are busted and hanging down towards the floor on both sides. Someone had to been jumping, or fighting very rough to bust it up the way it is, its solid wood and has always been a solid bed.

I contact AirBNB and immediately let them know what I'm seeing, they tell me to photograph it, and submit a request to hold the damage deposit ($300). Yesterday afternoon, I'm in the elevator coming up to my space, and two of my neighbors get on with me (from different floors). They ask, "Did you happen to have some people in your space this weekend?" For which I said "....yes... was there an issue?". They both go on to tell me that they were coming into the building on Saturday and about to get on the elevator when a group of people coming from the top floor (my floor) were getting off the elevator, but before they left it, they were kind enough to press all the buttons on the elevator and walk off leaving my neighbors to ride the elevator stopping at every floor up to theirs. It's not that big of a deal, and they didn't seem to much to care, but its just a stupid immature thing that an adult, or even a guest, shouldn't be doing.

So, now I'm out a bed, booze, wine and likely a review from the guests. I'm filing a claim to keep the $300 security deposit, but the bed that was broken will cost more than that to replace. I know that airBNB has a $1 million host insurance if the guests were to break something... and I guess I'll be the first one to experience how that process goes to recoup some of the lost funds from this guests stay.

What do you think /r/AirBNB ? Is there anything you would have done differently than I? Anything else you'd still do? I'm submitting all this, photos, and paperwork to airbnb this afternoon. Anything I should add?

Me [30 M] with my wife [33 F] of 6 years, she just spent $2.5K on her parents without consulting me, doesn't see the need to do so now or in the future relationships

I (30/M) have a wife (33/F) who is from China and is visiting her family there with our daughter (3) at the moment. This is par course for her as she goes over there twice a year usually. Her family is very important to her (which I think is partially cultural) and has told me as much that her parents are important to her than myself or our daughter (her words). I think this is a bit of hyperbole to get her point across, but not really a great feeling to have nonetheless. The trips aren't very expensive as we live quite close by (not in China, but a nearby country) and I've been over there many times. I have no problems with her parents and they are some of the nicest, warmest, most caring people I have ever met.

However, her desire to provide for her parents has put some stress on ourselves in the past. Our combined income is around 70K (optimistically) and we still find enough money (around 3K) to send back to her parents each year. This gift giving culture is two-way and my wife's parents might pay for her flight to China, or simply give a cash present to her as well (they have done so in the past). Her parents are semi-retired and the filial piety of the culture makes giving this money not a huge problem in my book. She emphasizes that her not living in the country and us not providing as much as is customary in China is kind of a big deal, but I feel like we have reached a middle ground that isn't too bad. However, this of course puts strain on our finances in other areas, and we are not as fiscally free as I'd like. I try to save money in other ways when I can and make myself less worried about the future.

We got into a large argument a little over a year ago when she gave her family an extra 1K in cash that she took back with her to China, again without asking me. I got angry (which I can be prone to do) and told her not to spend our money that way, as we don't have that much money saved up and I don't make that much either. She basically took that to mean that she should be contributing more money to our family (which was an issue at the time) and started working full-time, which has helped overall. In her new work she really busts her ass and has made some good money, although she has had to decrease the amount of time spent with me and our daughter because of it. I am quite proud of what she has accomplished in any case.

However, the other day she decided to buy a present for her parents, which she informed me of before she bought it. I didn't ask for any details, and imagined that possibly she'd buy them a washing machine (because theirs is old) or a refrigerator (which they don't have), which I have no problem with. However, later on she tells me she spent 3K on gold jewelry for her mother and father and I got upset again. Not only for the amount she decided to spend, but for the unnecessary way in which she spent it. A huge argument followed, in which she reiterated that her parents are more important than me. As well, she insists that because during the fight from a year ago that I told her to make 'her own' money (I think she is gas lighting me on this) so that we could give more freely to her parents, that all of her new income can be used in any way she sees fit, and doesn't need to consult me at all if she wants to use it, especially on her parents.

There are a lot more issues in our relationship that were discussed during this argument and I am not sure where to go from here. I tried to explain my feelings about her action, and asked her to put the shoe on the other foot (Can I buy a new laptop without asking you?), but she was able to rationalize her way out of that (It's her parents). I just feel disrespected and ignored in a very fundamental way that I think damages our relationship. Should I just lighten up and let her do some nice things for her parents? Any advice would be appreciated.

tl;dr Chinese wife who loves her parents spent $2.5K on gold jewelry for them without asking me. During ensuing argument she insists that I have no say in how she spends her income, especially when it comes to her parents.

[Tips] Making bookmark BattleCatsCheats

Sometimes you might be feeling it is really a hassle to do all those starting search when doing gacha hack or hex edit. So why you don't set a start point urself?

For example, you can create 6 hacked gacha cats in your refrigerator, edit the cro in order to 11,22,33,44,55, and 66 . Never use them at all. Now everytime you are going to hex edit the storage, just use combined search on those numbers 11,22,33,44,55,66 and you got the starting point without browing thru dozens of memories from anywhere else.

The Body Farm, Part 8 nosleep

part 7

This can't be real. I know this can't be real.

Two days ago I decided to leave town, for good. Too many people who couldn't be trusted knew where I lived. The way I figured it, you only get one life, so you'd better make it last as long as possible. If I had to wander the country, be homeless or join the circus, at least I'd be alive. There was nothing left for me back in that town, anyway- no friends, no family, no job. I might as well start over somewhere new, somewhere nobody knows me, and pray my problems don't follow me there.

I drove for as long as I could. There was no destination in mind, just west, like the old pioneers, except instead of fighting dysentery I only had to stop every few hundred miles for gas. I drove until I could barely keep my eyes open, and the first time I nodded off I picked out the cheapest motel I could find and checked in. A sickly girl with small teeth gave me a key and told me where to find ice, though she didn't sound too convinced of it herself. My head barely touched the pillow before I was asleep. Except here's the thing: I fell asleep in a motel bed, that much I know.

But I woke up on the island.

Sunlight danced on the leaves. It was a bright day, too bright for my eyes, as if they were adjusting to the light after walking out of a darkened theater, but it wouldn't go away no matter how long I waited. The sun was angry on my skin, and I felt about the light a way I never had before. It bothered me. Hurt me. Right away I suspected I was dreaming, but it all felt too real- the feel of the grass underfoot, the salty air that stung at my nostrils. Over to my left was the dock, with no boat as usual, and behind me the main research building and the guard's office. As I studied them, dumbfounded, I noticed they were in perfect condition. The guard's office especially was intact, no busted down door or damage of any kind.

And there were voices coming from inside.

Slowly I walked between the buildings to the side of the guard's office, giving distance to the windows, careful not to be seen, and pressed my ear to the wall. The voices were muted but familiar-sounding, and I struggled to make out the words.

A laugh, one I would know anywhere. It was Eric, the day guard. Eric, laughing. Eric, alive. Hearing him like that set something off inside me, and I took my ear from the wall and headed toward the door. I'd like to say it was relief at hearing him alive, or some heroic need to warn him about his coming death, but to be honest, more than anything, I felt angry. A rage boiled up in my center as I took step after step through the grass. But before I could reach the door it opened, and someone stepped out into the daylight, closing the door behind them.

Terri.

I'd gone over this scenario in my head a thousand times, what I would do if I could get my hands on her, this psycho, this black widow, how I would enjoy making her pay for what she'd done to me and so many other unsuspecting men. I never thought I'd actually get that chance, considering she'd died back in that cave, but these days, all things considered, that doesn't seem to change anything.

As I bore down on her I said her name. Terri, alive, Terri, smiling, she looked up at me, and I saw her eyes wash over with emotion- fear and pain and something else, something wrong- and she glanced back at the office to check that the door was closed before she spoke.

“What are you doing here?”

“Looking for you,” I replied, my throat hoarse. She looked again at the door. As I advanced on her she didn't back down, didn't try to fight, she only stepped forward and said something I couldn't hear. In my mind all I wanted to do was grab her, to hit her, choke her, shake the life from her. But the moment I reached out, hands going for her, my eyes went dark.

Night. I stood on the dock listening to the ocean. It was an eternal sound that pulled at my gut, urging me to step off the wood and into the water. The coastline with its lights and sounds seemed the most foreign, most unnatural thing to me at that moment.

There were closer lights, too. The guard's office was lit up like a torch in the night for the moths to bump and spiral against, not just the outer, security lights but the ones inside the windows as well. But there was something more important I had noticed, not a light but a sound, out in the trees past the buildings: the sound of a man walking through the woods.

Quietly, trying not to give myself away, I left the dock behind and walked up the hill past the office, past the bright window where inside the computer clicked and hummed. I tracked the sound in the trees through the first clearing- my God, the rotting bodies were back, even the disappearing and reappearing woman- and halfway across the island, always keeping my distance in case my footsteps were too heavy. I felt clumsy in the dark, uncoordinated, and I didn't want to be heard by whoever it was I was trailing.

Based on the direction they were going, I had a pretty good idea who it was.

A few hundred yards from where the pretend detectives and I had searched for the elusive second cave entrance, I doubled my pace without care for the noise. I'd be damned if I lost the bastard now. Yet damned I apparently was, because as I came to where the entrance should have been, I found myself very much alone in the clearing, staring out at ivy and leaves soaked in dew. I didn't see much choice except to wait, so I dug myself in behind an elm and watched carefully for anything unusual, any sight or sound to go on.

It took less than five minutes. With no warning a patch of thick, thick ivy swung up from the ground less than twenty feet from where I crouched. The ivy was mounted to a buried door, the wood made up to look like dirt, the whole thing so dirty and ivy-tangled we'd missed it on every pass. Doctor Christianson rose up from the ground. He calmly climbed an unseen ladder then stepped up from the depths and onto the ground. He shut the door behind him and tossed something into the tall grass, stomping back into the woods. I waited until he was gone, then scrambled forward and checked what he'd thrown.

A mostly empty bottle of whiskey, the remains dribbling into the dirt. I left it and pushed my hands into the wet ivy, searched around until my fingers found a handle. The hidden door lifted so easily, and onced it was propped open on its rusted hinge I clambered down the hole beneath, feet slipping on the cold metal rungs of the ladder that led down into the ground.

The sea echoed against rock, and there was just enough light for me to stumble my way through the cave. It wasn't the moon, or a candle or a flashlight that guided me, but the blinking, cycling lights of machines working in the dark that drew me in. One or two had small monitors, but most of them were of an older style, with dials and diodes and paper-fed read-outs and a crowd of other things I've never seen outside of a black-and-white movie, and one of the screens showed a topographic line-map of land which could only be Twain Island, with small bulbs inserted in key points. One of them was lit up and buzzing, and if I had to guess I would put its location somewhere close to where Greg's body was. Greg, the guy with the arms.

As I got closer to the busy machines, one of them, the largest, clicked on as if responding to company, and a large, thick-glassed bulb at its top, one that reminded me of the lamp and lens at the top of a lighthouse, hummed to life. The filament inside glowed hot and then hotter and somewhere a paper feed began spitting out lengths. The glass was red and so was the light. The sight of it sucked me in even stronger than the ocean had not long before.

I reached out for it, reached for the expanding glow, walked toward the welcoming, luminescent red, and in the throbbing crimson light I could see there was something wrong with my hand near the thumb, something that didn't belong there, and as all became the dark warmth of red sun, I made out the faint patterns of black thread stitched into my skin.

I woke up in the morning, in my car, pulled over at a harsh angle on the side of road. Whether I'd stayed in a motel or not I couldn't say, but enough cash was missing from my wallet that I think I did. These days it's so hard to keep track of every, little thing. It's bad enough keeping track of where I am, let alone where I've been.

Back on the island, when I reached for Terri, she'd said something I couldn't hear. I've spent a lot of time since thinking about her lips, the way they moved, the words they formed. The three words she'd said. I think I know what they were now.

“You're not finished.”

The last few days before I left town, I'd started having blackouts, long periods of time I lost track of. My car wouldn't be where I'd parked it. Food would be gone from my refrigerator. Before I left, I made one, last stop. I drove to the employment agency who put me on that damn island in the first place. I wanted to question the prick who ran it. I needed to know if he was in on it, if he'd knowingly sent me and God knows how many others into the snake pit, or if he'd been as naive as I was. But when I got there all I found was the charred remains of a building. What was left of it was marked off with police tape.

Someone had burned it to the ground.

Further reports from the Sutcliffe Catering Co. Office nosleep

Hey dudes. This is actually Tyler, Jenkins' work buddy at Sutcliffe Catering Company. You may remember me from such posts as this one http://ift.tt/19oqGCX and this one http://ift.tt/19eEvE8 .

Jenkins phoned me this morning, sounding like something the cat (or one of my frat brothers back in the day) might have puked up on the rug. Poor son of a bitch sounded like death warmed over. He told me he'd been sending dispatches about some of the outlandish shit going down at our office and asked me to log in and make a post if anything weird happened today. He said he'd had "The most intense and horrifying dream of his life" and that he woke up much too freaked out to even think about coming into work.

So I glanced through the first couple of posts he's made, and I have to say that Jenkins has things more or less right. I DO have nice hair (Jenkins is balding hee hee) and I DO read The Economist and Chafee DID tell me I was gonna be his right hand man, his ace in the hole. Also, uh, yeah, our new boss does seem to have slain our old boss and decided to wear his face as a mask and I'm gonna level with you, I find that a little problematic.

Today I got to the office and went to the break room to make some tea. I carry a few Harney and Sons Cinnamon Sunset bags with me every day. Copped a bunch last time I hung out with dad at the Cornell Club. As Lil Wayne might say, they're the piss AND the shit (that means they're epic).

Corporate's really going all out with their renovations. As I was dispensing hot water into my mug I heard a ding ding ding and realized they'd added sound effects to the unoperational elevator door they uncovered behind the old fridge, which is a nice whimsical touch. I smiled a little as I tossed my container of almond and honey Greek yogurt into the new refrigerator.

I think it's kind of weird how I literally can't tell our new face-stealing Chafee from Schuyler Chafee at this point. Even if I really focus on him he looks tall and lean and patrician even though I know for a fact he's a squat guy wearing a flesh mask that doesn't fit right and has to be pretty putrid by now. Anyway, Chafee came up to my desk and said "Another honcho coming up from corporate we all have lunch. Where is Jenkins at?"

"He phoned and said he was under the weather, skipper," I smiled at him.

"Yeah he dream too good maybe," and he laughed and laughed which I found disconcerting.

I was on the phone with dad, telling him about my impending promotion and asking him if he thought I should get a new car, something sporty. He was going through my options, suggesting I might lease an Audi or something, when the door flew open and the honcho from corporate was standing there so I hung up in a hurry and started making sure my tie was straight and my monitor showed something work-related.

I could tell this guy was from corporate because, unlike Chafee, his flesh-mask was crooked and and saggy and distorted and smelled so foul that I saw people reaching for their garbage cans. Whatever, I lived in a Sigma Pi house for two years, the mask wasn't the worst thing I'd ever smelled mid-morning. Still, it was a pretty weird situation.

The man barged right back to Chafee's office and shut the door and we heard what sounded like very loud snorting and giggling and cackling and it reminded me of the first few lessons of that Rosetta Stone Chafee gave me to help me learn the native language of our new owners.

In a few minutes Chafee came out and introduced me to his buddy.

"Tyler, this is Saltonstall from corporate Saltonstall this is Tyler right hand man real go getter."

I offered Saltonstall my hand and he stared at it like I'd offered him a huge wad of wet clay. "Say, I was at school with some Saltonstalls. Maybe you're related."

"Skip Saltonstall," he said with some difficulty. The dude reeked. Also his face was distended and drooping and grotesque. Also I'd been at school with Skip Saltonstall which would explain why the face had been, in some unsettling way, familiar.

Lunch was largely uneventful. Usual corporate talk--maximize this, synergize that, spout a few platitudes ("You can't boil the ocean," I said, for example, at which point they'd shared a glanced and laughed) down a few glasses of bourbon. After a couple of glasses of Whistlepig I noticed Saltonstall looked more and more like my old buddy Skip, so I guess whiskey goggles aren't only useful for 2 AM last-keg's-tapped situations at the house.

Near the end of the lunch, Saltonstall noticed my Movado and complimented me on it. "Give watch I show you magic trick," he said.

I handed him my watch, smiling a little uneasily. Saltonstall covered it with a napkin and smiled at me. "Ready to see magic? Good." He then began to smash the watch against the table over and over like a monkey trying to smash a coconut or something. Grinning ear to ear he handed me the pieces of my Movado. "See? Magic!" Saltonstall and Chafee laughed and laughed. I tried to be a good sport, though I was miffed.

The rest of my day was uneventful. As I was packing up, Chafee clamped his hand around my shoulder in what I think he meant to be a friendly way although it chilled my skin and hurt like hell, and said "Corporate like you. You're going places real big shot right hand man," and then he laughed. "Now get outta here I got things to take care of."

Fraternity Kitchen Help! personalfinance

We have a kitchen in our fraternity that has been closed for a year. The school has always been gradually trying to put down fraternities by taking away amenities that have always been present from free laundry machines to raising special administration costs specific to us.

We have had our kitchen closed for a year and we're planning on reopening it at the start of next year. We have a kitchen surplus from previous years of about 15K which is leftovers from not spending our entire budget, which can be put to use for repairs.

The issue is that our school just dropped the fact that in order to re-open our kitchen, the estimate is about 30K for equipment replacement and work needed to be done in order to meet County health regulations. Our kitchen features the following equipment: -Walk-in freezer -Walk-in refrigerator -industrial grill and stove top -deep fryer -Hobart industrial dishwasher All of these you'd expect to see in a restaurant. Sorry for the vagueness. Is there anyway to go around getting our own quote/estimate to verify we're not getting overcharged? All of our equipment was working before our kitchen was closed for a year so that's why I'm skeptical of why the pricing is so high considering non of the equipment are likely to break without being used. I understand the equipment is all very expensive however I'd like to know if it's possible to be able to get a quote from a third party source rather than the school's own personnel

Experience cutting up a refrigerator wanted! Homebrewing

Short and simple.

I want to cut the "divider" between the fridge and freezer compartment out and create on big space.

Anyone ever done this?

I know there will be some electrical there, but what are the odds of coolant lines or another obstacle that is difficult to overcome.

Does the reduced calorie rice with coconut oil trick work with brown rice too? EatCheapAndHealthy

I'm sure most of you have heard about the trick that cooking white rice with coconut oil then letting it sit in the refrigerator will greatly reduce the number of calories in the rice.

rice trick

Brown rice is regarded as healthier, but I can not find any information that states that cooking brown rice the same way will also reduce the calories. Does anyone know if it would work the same way and if so can you share any recipes?
