I have two questions:

I just bought a frozen turkey last night. Do I need to keep it in the freezer for a few days before letting it thaw out or will it be okay in the refrigerator until Thanksgiving morning? It's 20 lbs.

I was all set to dry brine it, but could only find pre-brined turkey. Should I skip the brining or just go ahead with brining to a lesser extent? Now that I type it, it seems like a dumb question, but I want confirmation.
This is my first time making a turkey, so the advice is appreciated.
