Okay ladies, I like my wine. I have a glass of it most nights with dinner. And usually it ends up being red wine, because white wine benefits greatly from being chilled, and that would require planning to actually get the wine bottle in the refrigerator earlier than 5 minutes before sitting down at the table. My husband will occasionally comment on how this is why we need a wine cooler, and that is in our long term plans for when we renovate the kitchen, but at the current they are expensive and they also take up space that we don't really have.
Except that today I popped into our local thrift store looking for other things, and there was a plugged in nice and chilly Cuisinart 8 bottle wine cooler for $27.99. These things retail for $150+ new. I swooped that thing, and it can have my side of the bed if there's no other room for it in the house!
