This morning I placed my lunch inside the break room refrigerator. About 1 hour ago a pipe burst in the room and flooded it. The maintenance people will show up in an hour maybe and try to fix it. The room is now closed off. Basically my lunch is closed up in the locked room.
Can I make my employer pay for my lunch? Can I sue them for the price of the lunch? Its special pasta my wife spent over 30 minutes preparing last night. I don't want it to go to waste without financial compensation.
