Open house event on Thursday January 25th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm-- Come see your new home in person! Summary:

Located on a quiet street just 3 blocks away from the Columbia Heights Metro, &Pizza, Giant, Target, Room11, ChikFilA, The Coupe Cafe, El Chucho Tacos, Meridian Pint, Wonderland Ballroom and much more, your new home is the perfect balance of city and suburban living. Walk Score of 95, bike score of 87, and transit score of 79! 15-min walk to U Street or Adam's Morgan.

** Rent is $1053 per month ** UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED (only need to count an additional $20 for monthly maid service and internet) ** 1 year lease, with the option of breaking the lease early ** Room available on February 1st ** Security deposit is 1 month's rent.

The Room : Your unfurnished room would be on the 2nd floor of our 3 story house and is the biggest room in the entire house! You have hardwood flooring, FOUR windows, 10 foot ceilings, and share only one wall with one roommate, making the room very quiet. I was able to fit a queen bed, two night stands, a large dresser, a storage unit, a desk, a hammock, a coffee table, shoe shelving, and a 50-inch television in the space easily!

The House: Quiet six bed and two bathroom Victorian row house in Columbia Heights available for move in February 1st. We are located on the corner of Lamont and 11th Street NW, just an 8 minute walk to the metro and feet away from the 64 and 70 bus lines. There are also 4 Capital Bike Share stations within two blocks of the house. Washer/dryer on first level, refrigerator & freezer, gas stove and oven, ice maker, etc.

We have a fully furnished living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a gorgeous backyard patio. We have a good balance of roommates showering in the morning and night, so there hasn't been any overlap since I've lived there.

The house is relatively quiet and typically at least one roommate is out of town at any given time, so it doesn't get crowded in the kitchen, living spaces, etc. Visitors are more than welcome and we do have the occasional party and family dinner.

The Roommates:

E: Writing this post! I work in Property Management and outside of work I volunteer at an animal shelter, attend classes at Yoga District (across the street!), take ceramics classes, and am not one to turn down a whiskey sour. I'll be moving to North Carolina in two weeks, so you'll be taking my spot!

G: G recently moved into the house and she's the best. We go out together pretty frequently and have loved living next door to each other.

J: Has lived in the house for about 3 years now and works as a Civil Rights Paralegal. Cooks an elaborate and amazing meal pretty much every day and loves watching football.

R: Leaves for work very early and comes back very late, but when you're lucky enough to catch him at home, he's always down to chat or even attend a yoga class (if I beg him haha)

S: Pretty quiet grad student who studies a ton and isn't home a lot. She's very friendly, but mostly sticks to herself.

W: Spends a lot of time at his friends' houses and is rarely home. However, he's very friendly, funny, and easy to talk to when he's here!

You: Respectful, clean, sociable, interesting, open minded politically, kind, and considerate. Chill, fun, and easy to talk to is always preferable of course! No preference for gender, career, sexual orientation, or political affiliation. Only small pets allowed (ex. hamsters, fish, etc.).

If you think you'd be a good fit for our home, please shoot me an email (earagon@colgate.edu) telling us a bit about yourself!

Thank you :D
