I reached out to the following two CL ads asking for more info/pics.
The first ad responded with with pictures and the following text:
My name is Ava Chapman and I'm the owner of the 2000 Roadtrek 190 Popular. This camper is in great shape (1 air conditioner, length:19, sleeping capacity:2, toilet, shower, full kitchen includes sink, stovetop, refrigerator, and microwave. Single bed option with front and rear passenger seat, V8 GAS engine, spare tire,Fuel Tank Capacity - 35 Gallons,Propane Tank - 24 Gallons, Water Heater - 8 Gallons, Black Water Tank - 13 Gallons, Gray Water Tank - 29 Gallons,Fresh Water Tank - 34 Gallons). It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn't been involved in any accident... The title is in my name and is clear. I am selling it at this final price of $5000 because my husband died 2 month ago (he had a heart attack) and it brings me bad memories and I, along with my daughter decided to sell the house and so we moved in Butte trying to start a new life. That's the reason why I want to sell it asap and my last price is $5000 including delivery to your home address. Let me know if you are interested, email me back.
The second add responded with pictures and the following text (was tempted to buy this one):

I'm assuming this person is running a scam where they ask for the money to be wired, but never deliver the car? I'm curious how they would respond if I asked to come check it out in person. Is it possible I can play a long as if I will send the money and get them in trouble with police?
Thanks,
