Been without power for 3 days, hopefully that gets fixed today. The problem stems from a leaking refrigerator and freezer as ice melts. Water has seeped into the boards and discolored the ends and sides to a black color. I've been trying to keep the water cleaned up, but haven't been able to stay on top of it the whole time. I've been looking for answers on how to fix it, but haven't had much luck. If I dry the wood using a dehumidifier will the discoloration fade as the wood dries? What other things should I try to fix this problem? Should I call a professional? These are real hardwoods, not laminate, although I'm not sure what type (how can I tell that)
