CA - Hotel said they were out of stock of advertised features, no compensation was offered legaladvice

Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery.

I booked this hotel because it had a fully equipped kitchen. I spent a considerable amount of time shopping for ingredients and bringing it over. When I arrived, the kitchen was not stocked at all. When I requested it, they told me they were all out. They did not offer any kind of compensation at all.

I filed a complaint to the BBB and they essentially did nothing and closed the case. I called the person working on the case and she never got back to me.

What is the proper way to proceed with this? It seems like a clear case of false advertising.
